Always log in to www.njstart.gov to get all the details you need about each contract and remember to visit the Official Site of the State Of New Jersey, Department of Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property. This site has special notices, and links to other important information that can be useful in your daily work activity.

Question: I am having issues resetting my password, am I doing something wrong?

Answer: Non-State Agency Users with log in credentials to the NJSTART system are NOT able to reset their passwords themselves. If you need your password reset, please contact coop-njstart@mdfcommerce.com and your password will be reset, and a new temporary password will be generated.

Question: Are GSA contracts that are part of the NJSTART system and offered as a cooperative contracts allowed to be used?

Answer: Yes! To find out more, review this Special Notice.

Question: How can I tell if a contract is a State managed contract, a National Cooperative, or a GSA contract?

Answer: See Graphic below for details, portfolio number that start with T/G/M

The Quarter One Contract Category Spotlight is Technology. Review this quarter’s State of New Jersey Cooperative Contract Update with almost 100 technology focused Statewide contracts. Welcome to 2024! In the upcoming months the NJSTART Team will be at the following events: NJSBGA Conference, The Rutgers Public Purchasing Forum, and NJ Association of Counties Conference/Workshop. If you are in attendance at any of these events, please be sure to visit with us.

Some users may have experienced a disruption with your NJSTART login. For security reasons the system requires you to login on a regular basis. I recommend logging into the system 1x per month to maintain active credentials . Should you get locked out or deactivated please email us at coop-njstart@mdfcommerce.com and we will get you back online immediately.

The NJSTART Team is committed to continue to enhance our support for public purchasing entities. To do so, I encourage organizations and users to register using the following links:
