Please use this link to download a spreadsheet containing a comprehensive listing of State of New Jersey contracts open to New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Program Participants, with multiple tabs, listed below: 

• All contracts as of May 2024 
• Public Safety related contracts as of May 2024 
• New contracts since February 2024 
• Extended contracts since February 2024 
• Expired contracts since February 2024 
• NEW! Expiring soon contracts as of May 2024
• NEW! Contracts with Notes as of May 2024

New this Quarter: Please review the two new worksheets added to our Quarterly State of New Jersey Cooperative list! These new worksheets are called Expiring Soon Contracts as of May 2024, and Contracts with Notes. These new worksheets will be updated every quarter and are intended to better inform Participants about the State's Cooperative Contract Portfolio. Information such as whether a soon to expire contract portfolio is being re-procured, or if there are any extensions remaining on those contracts, are meant to help all participants plan better when leveraging State of New Jersey Cooperative Contracts. If you have any questions about the notes, please contact us at coop-njstart@mdfcommerce.com.  

Always log in to www.njstart.gov to get all the details you need about each contract and remember to visit the Official Site of the State Of New Jersey, Department of Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property. This site has special notices, and links to other important information that can be useful in your daily work activity.

Hear from Nick Susi - NJSTART General Manager, and Bill Hnatiuk - NJSTART Local Government Manager as they answer commonly asked questions, like:

Question: A Vendor has a V-number. Is that the same as a contract number?

Answer: No. V-numbers are a unique identifier for registered vendors. Having a V# does not mean the vendor has been awarded a contract. There are approximately 60,000 registered vendors in the NJSTART system, and there are approximately 1,000 SONJ Statewide Cooperative contracts. If a vendor does have a Statewide contract, they can provide you with their contract/blanket number and you can validate that in NJSTART by using the Advanced Search feature. If there is ever a question you can contact the team at coop-njstart@mdfcommerce.com.

Question: How do I reset my NJSTART password?

Answer: If you need your password reset, please contact coop-njstart@mdfcommerce.com and your password will be reset, and a new temporary password will be generated. 

Question: Do purchase orders for Statewide Contracts have to include the contract number and State Cooperative Purchasing Program system number?

Answer: Yes. Please review “NJAC 5:34-7.29(e)”.

Question: What is the State's Cooperative Purchasing Program system number?

Answer: 1NJCP

Question: What resources are available from NJSTART for me to use in preparing annual resolutions to use Statewide contracts?

Answer: You can find contract reports and other useful information at www.njstart.info. For detailed contract information, always review contracts in www.njstart.gov.

The Quarter Two Contract Category Spotlight is Public Safety. Review this quarter’s State of New Jersey Cooperative Contract Update with over 200 Public Safety focused Statewide contracts. Did you know?

If you are looking for an authorized reseller/distributor on contract, you can use the Advanced Search feature to search contracts/blankets by vendor name. Your search results will include contracts on which that vendor is an authorized reseller/distributor. Always double check the vendor tab and the distributor sub-tab to verify your results.
